The Executive Director of the AHDC and Associate Dean for Diagnostic Operations and Government Relations leads and supports the AHDC mission, providing executive leadership and strategic direction for all programs associated with the laboratory, as well as serves as liaison to state and federal government offices, representing CVM and its interests. This includes supervision of diagnostic and related service activities of AHDC laboratory units and program directors and providing the chair of the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences with annual performance feedback of academic appointments within the AHDC. The AHDC Executive Director also engages and supports the Dean in the Veterinary College’s communication and coordination of AHDC activities with state and federal agencies. The incumbent reports to the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and works cooperatively with the Chair of the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences and other college leaders the management of the AHDC.
